Last night after our fun day out, we came home and made a Danish Smorrebrod, which is an open sandwich made on rye bread. You butter the bread and then top it with whatever you want. On ours we put swiss cheese, lettuce, shrimp, red onion & topped it with pepper and some lemon juice. It was pretty okay. 🙂 Although, I enjoyed mine more than Haden. Haden just ate the shrimp off of his pretty much.
We also learned a few fun facts about Denmark. Like… Denmark is made up of a peninsula and over 400 small islands. They are famous for their pork products. And Legos were invented by a Danish carpenter.
